Specialist – Central Texas An independent hearing aid practice in
Central Texas (Burnet / Lampasas area) is seeking a licensed
Hearing Instrument Specialist (HIS) to provide patient care in a
community-based setting. Position details: \t•\tLocations: Burnet &
Lampasas, TX \t•\tSetting: Independent practice (not corporate /
not big-box) \t•\tPatient base already established \t•\tFocus on
diagnostics, fittings, follow-ups, and patient counseling Flexible
arrangements available: \t•\tFull-time or part-time
\t•\tTransitional or short-term coverage \t•\tShared coverage
between locations \t•\tTravel or hybrid schedule considered

Proficiency in conducting Hearing Tests and Audiometry to evaluate
and identify hearing loss or related conditions. Excellent Customer
Service skills, including the ability to communicate effectively
with clients and address their concerns with empathy and
professionalism. Experience in fitting, programming, and
maintaining hearing aids to meet individual client needs. Relevant
licensing or certification as a Hearing Aid Specialist or
Audiologist (state-specific requirements apply). Strong
organizational and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
to ensure client satisfaction.
