We're a vibrant customer acquisitions firm based in Austin, TX. We specialize in increasing brand representation, market share and revenue via event based promotions and customer acquisition. We are currently looking to expand our marketing team with a new Marketing Assistant.Location: Austin, TX (This is not a remote position)Start Date: 1-2 weeks from offer would be preferredCompensation: $600 per week base pay + additional commissions - Average take home earnings range from: $39,775 - $51,795 including base pay + commissionSports Marketing Assistant Responsibilities/Key TasksJust like in sports you will have a competitive nature and the ability to drive until you reach the results you are looking for. With a range of transferable skills from the sports industry, you will also be able to work well as part of a team to achieve team and company goals and improve our event-based campaigns. Some of your main duties will include:

• To assist in customer relations by maintaining excellent customer service at all times, including an up to date knowledge of our non-profit and charity clients' services
• Create marketing presentations to ensure customers and new donors are aware of how they can best support our client's charity
• Distribute marketing products to customers at our events
• Engaging in marketing campaigns with sales activities
• Implement marketing projects and advertising campaigns
• Working as part of the sales and marketing team as well as completing individual tasks
• Promoting client's products and services to the public
• Enthusiastically interacting with customers in person
• Answering questions & registering customer information
• Creating Positive Brand Awareness for Our ClientThe Candidate: The sports industry and sales and marketing industry have a range of skills and characteristics that are transferable, such as a competitive nature, discipline and the drive that you need in sports is also the same mentality that will make you successful in the Marketing industry. Ideally, applicants should have:

  • Initiative, enthusiasm and self-motivation
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • Show resilience of character and are able to overcome setbacks and continue with enthusiasm

  • Over the age of 18
