Job Description:
Full-time Description TRI Air Testing, Inc. , located in
Pflugerville, Texas, is looking for a Full-time Field Technician to
work for the clients of our thriving company. The Field Technician
represents TRI at customer facilities across the U.S. and
internationally. This role is responsible for performing
specialized gas sampling services, ensuring accurate data
collection, maintaining equipment integrity, and delivering
professional customer experience. The ideal candidate is
self-motivated, detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, and
comfortable working independently in a travel-intensive
environment. Candidates with plumbing, fitting, and mechanical
backgrounds encouraged to apply. TRI will provide 2 weeks paid in
house training, followed by shadowed training on the road.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Travel to TRI’s many customer locations
domestically and internationally Be willing and able to travel on
multiple overnight work trips regularly throughout the work week
and occasionally on the weekends Perform the many gas sampling
techniques and methods that TRI has at customer locations Set up,
operate, maintain, and troubleshoot sampling equipment in various
industrial environments Accurate document and report field data
Represent TRI professionally and communicate clearly with customers
while on site Must be able to lift 70lbs and carry marginal weight
loads for long distances When not traveling, assist with technician
duties at TRI’s facility, including equipment preparation,
maintenance, and general operational support All other duties as

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: High school graduate or equivalent. Some
college or college degree preferred. JOB PREREQUISITES: Ability to
travel 3-4 business days overnight per week if needed (some
weekends) Ability to work well independently with only remote
supervision Ability to communicate effectively and generously with
TRI customers in person Ability to complete the same task
repetitively and consistently Previous experience with compressed
air or compressed gas delivery systems would be preferred but not
required Experience with threaded fittings and hand tools preferred
but not required PHYSICAL CHALLENGES: Good hand eye coordination
Strong attention to detail and situational awareness Ability to
work in industrial and manufacturing environments Lift up to 70
lbs. and carry 30-50 lbs. for long distances and up stairs This is
