Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and
minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required.

considered. A Special Education Teacher position is available for
grades 6-10 in a K-12 school setting located in Helotes, TX. This
contract role offers a full-time schedule with 37.5 hours per week
over 5 days, serving students aged 6-12. The assignment duration is
for the current school year (CSY). Key Responsibilities: - Develop
and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to the
needs of special education students - Adapt instruction methods and
materials to meet diverse learning requirements - Collaborate with
general education teachers, parents, and support staff to promote
student success - Monitor and assess student progress, maintaining
accurate records and reports - Foster a supportive and inclusive
classroom environment that encourages growth and development
Qualifications and Experience: - Valid special education teaching
certification for grades 6-10 - Demonstrated experience working
with K-12 students with diverse learning needs - Strong knowledge
of special education laws, regulations, and best practices -
Excellent communication, organizational, and classroom management
skills - Commitment to student-centered instructional approaches
