Job Title: Senior Firmware Engineer

Job Location: Austin, TX (in-office)

Job Salary: $120-140K DOE (benefits, PTO, retirement plan, etc.)

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering (or related field).
• 5+ years recent professional experience with firmware engineering in embedded systems.
• Experience with RS-485/RS-422, CAN, and/or AS9100 is highly preferred, but not required.

    What You Will Be Doing
    
    • Collaborating with hardware engineering to design, develop, and implement electronic hardware architecture (design review and firmware impact assessment).
    • Developing detailed system performance models using MATLAB/SIMULINK (or equivalent).
    • Performing validation/verification.
      What You Need for this Position
      
      • Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering (or related field).
      • 5+ years recent professional experience with firmware engineering in embedded systems.
      • Experience with RS-485/RS-422, CAN, and/or AS9100 is highly preferred, but not required.

        • MTBF/FTA
        • DSP/FPGA
