Entegris is seeking an energetic, seasoned Inventory Manager to
monitor, oversee and optimize the global inventory position for the
Specialty Chemical and Engineered Materials Division. The position
is located in Round Rock, Texas and reports to the Director of
Global Supply Chain. This opportunity allows high visibility,
direct impact to the bottom line, and participation on a dynamic
team in a high-tech, growing organization.
In this role you will
Development and oversight of global inventory strategy and
processes that optimize customer satisfaction while balancing cost
Subject Matter Expert upon the company standard algorithms that use
statistical approaches to assign target stocking levels
Understanding of and influence upon inventory control parameters
that optimize inventory and ordering patterns (ABC/Lot sizes/Min
Ord quantities/Replenishment Frequency);
Subject Matter Expert and conducts regular analysis using toolset
that calculates ' Max Inventory Level '; collaborates with key
stakeholders (Business Unit, Operations, Commodity Management,
Supply Network Planner) to mitigate over max inventory;
Refine, monitor & mitigate key metrics to measure inventory results
and performance; inclusive of: Summary and conclusion of key "net
change" drivers and trends; Synthesize inventory data into specific
action; Drive execution of actions for inventory results; and
Projecting and translating changes in inventory position and the
contribution or impact those changes have on the balance sheet
Proactively drive process & mitigation of MRB, Excess & Obsolete
inventory and ensure appropriate financial reserves are
Proficient and comfortable in presenting results to executive
Acts as liaison between cross functional and global groups, by
conducting meetings, reviewing process details and obtaining
commitment and approvals.
5 years' inventory management experience in a global supply
Bachelor's Degree; preferably in Business, Supply Chain or
Proficient use of Microsoft Excel and/or Access, and developing or
operating in complex databases;
Ability to apply statistical methods to supply chain and inventory
related concepts (using SPC concept to assign upper and lower
target stocking levels, using Mean Average Deviation or Standard
Deviation to establish safety stock levels)
Effective people skills (Communicate, Influence and champion
Knowledge and hands on experience in SAP MRP/ERP required;
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and the ability to analyze data
and turn data into information & action;
Demonstrated ability to influence and drive accountability across
peers as well as leading cross-functional teams;
Effective problem solving / critical thinking skills to drive
solutions related to complex supply chain models and
Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders in all levels
of the organization;
Excellent decision-making ability with the confidence to implement
APICS certification a strong plus
