Apply today for our Registered Nurse House Supervisor PRN opportunity.Job Summary and Qualifications As a House Supervisor, you will be responsible for monitoring and coordinating intradepartmental and interdepartmental functioning of the hospital. You will be responsible for the direction, supervision, coordination, and evaluation of nursing performance and activities related to the care and treatment of patients within the hospital on a specific shift. You will coordinate the assignments of patients to specific unitsYou will assign nursing staff to specific clinical areas within the hospitalYou will act as the official representative of management and administrative staff of the hospital in their absenceYou will assess personnel needs based on census, acuity, and special needs of each unit Job Requirements Experience Minimum of (5) years of clinical practice, (3) of which have been as a Charge Nurse or similar management roleOther preferred experience: 1-2 years' experience as House Supervisor. Education Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN)Completion of or actively pursuing Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) - preferred Licenses and Certifications Current State of Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license or Compact Registered Nursing License. If Compact License, Texas license must be obtained within 90 days of hireBasic Life Support (BLS) certification per St. David's Healthcare policyAdvanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification per St. David's Healthcare policy This role requires you to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 based on local, state and /or federal law or regulations (unless a medical or religious exemption is approved).
