Job Overview:
The Client Care Representative plays an integral role in the
Advanced Veterinary Care provided by Central Texas Veterinary
Specialty & Emergency Hospital. This role goes hand in hand with
our purpose statement of enhancing the quality of life for our
patients.
In the performance of their respective tasks and duties all
employees are expected to conform to the following:

Position Responsibilities:
- Answer multiple phone lines
- Schedule appointments
- Enthusiastically greet clients upon arrival
- Prepare and collect information from clients to create or
update their pet's chart
- Explain hospital policy as it applies to payment for services
rendered
- Faxing, filing, mailing
- Reminder calls
- Performing end-of-day duties
- Properly use the computer to schedule appointments, enter new
client and new pet information, and generate invoices
- Appropriately prepare billings, and receipts, collect and
record all payments for services rendered
- Consistent, on-time arrival and attendance at work each day you
are scheduled.
- Always be in position and prepared to work at the start of each
shift.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work well with others as a team.
- Flexibility and the ability to adjust to a changing
environment

Qualifications:
- GED or High School Diploma
- Two years minimum customer service experience
- Basic computer knowledge
- Know how to operate essential office equipment
- Knowledge of the veterinary field is preferred, but not
required Special Position Requirements:
Overtime may be required.
Work rotation for Saturday required
Physical Effort:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently
required to bend, stoop, and stand for extended periods and is
required to lift forty (40) pounds. Employees will be expected to
request assistance with lifting or carrying animals or materials
over 40 pounds.
Work Requirements:
- Hazards associated with infected animals, controlled
substances, and possible exposure to contagious diseases
- Exposures to unpleasant odors and noises
- Exposure to aggressive patients, bites, scratches, and animal
wastes
