A cancer treatment clinic in Round Rock is looking to bring on
Clinic Nurses to help support the site. This nurse will support one
of the two Oncology Doctors and works very closely with them. Each
Dr. has 6 practitioners under them and 3 RN's that help support
patient care. They will be responsible for face to face care, as
well as over the phone/chat messaging with patients. They will act
somewhat at a Nurse Navigator, understanding patient symptoms and
knowing where to direct them next - i. e. ordering labs, market
testing, setting up for specific appointments, etc. They will also
help assist with rooming new patients, perform nurse visits for any
new oncology patients, and inform them on the patient care to
expect. Oncology Experience3+ years of experience as a Registered
Nurse 2+ years of experience working in critical care Current RN
state license with the State Board of Nursing in Texas BLS
Certified
