Pediatrix has the opportunity for a full-time Pediatric Nurse
Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our high-risk NICU
follow-up clinic!ResponsibilitiesOur pediatricians, nurse
practitioners and physician assistants are experienced in caring
for children from infancy through age 4 who may be at risk of
developing special health care needs. As a high-risk NICU follow-up
clinic, our practice collaborates with pediatricians and other
community providers to facilitate optimal developmental support,
early intervention, family support, and specialized care, while
also offering additional support and education for parents and
caregivers. These hospital-based outpatient clinics will be located
at Methodist Children's Hospital, North Central Baptist Hospital
and Christus Children's Hospital.The ideal candidate will be
comfortable seeing babies who have just come out of the NICU and
require follow-up care.Job Details
- Hospital-based outpatient clinic setting
- Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm schedule
- No weekends, no call
- Manageable patient volume
- Limited developmental testing
