qualified Postpartum RN in Austin, Texas, 78758! Pay Information

13 Weeks Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM Hours per Shift: 12 Experience:
Minimum 1 Year License: Nursing License Certifications: BLS, NRP
Must-Have: Candidates without these skills will not be considered
for the role. Description: Contract position for a Registered Nurse
in Postpartum. Shift is from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. No call
requirements. Candidates must hold a valid nursing license. BLS and
NRP certifications are required. The unit has a total of 24 beds.
There are 26 staff members, including 1 charge nurse and 4
registered nurses during the day. There is a clerk present during
the day; no patient care technicians are on duty at night. Patient
ratios typically range from 3:1 to 4:1, occasionally 2:1 depending
on patient acuity. The unit utilizes EMR Meditech and CPN for
patient records. Candidates should have skills in non-stress tests,
hyperemesis management, insulin and heparin drips, and magnesium
administration. Teamwork-oriented individuals with good
communication skills will excel in this role. Scrub color is navy
blue. Preferred candidates will have previous labor and delivery or
