Job Description Rang Healthcare is seeking a local contract nurse RN PACU - Post Anesthesia Care for a local contract nursing job in Brenham, Texas. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: PACU - Post Anesthesia Care - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 08/11/2025 - Duration: 52 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Local Contract Procedural RN PACU Day Surgery Brenham, TX Department: Pre-op, Recovery, Post-op Schedule: 8-hour shifts, Day Shift, M-F (Time varies) call rotation Perioperative Department Specifics: Patient Population: All age groups 6 months and up. of rooms: 5 Operating rooms (includes endo room) Patient Ratios: 1:2 or 1:3 Job Summary As a Procedural Registered Nurse, you will work as a licensed professional and use the nursing practice model to oversee patient care by the healthcare team. Your responsibilities will involve assessing patients, identifying nursing diagnoses for health issues, and developing personalized care plans. You will also assess patient responses regularly. Your contributions will help patients navigate healthcare safely by understanding their needs and the healthcare system. This will prevent complications and delays. Delegating tasks to other staff will be based on Texas nursing laws, patient conditions, and staff skills. . Qualifications Accredited program or (2) two years minimum, required for this position. A major focus or specialization in Nursing. Ideally, some relevant professional experience, though less than a (1) one year would suffice.
