Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Clinical Nurse Coordinator RN to join our Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) team. This role is perfect for a Registered Nurse who thrives in high-intensity environments and is passionate about providing exceptional post-operative care. As a Clinical Nurse Coordinator, you will supervise and organize nursing activities in the PACU, ensuring compassionate, efficient, and effective patient care following surgical procedures. Manage nursing operations in the PACU, including staff scheduling, patient flow, and resource allocation. Oversee the care of patients recovering from anesthesia, including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and providing pain management. Ensure all post-operative procedures and policies are followed by the nursing staff. Assist in the development and implementation of training programs for PACU personnel. Coordinate with surgeons, anesthetists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. Evaluate the performance of nursing staff and contribute to performance appraisals. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment for patients and staff. Document patient care services and update patient records accurately. Expertise in PACU or critical care nursing protocols and procedures. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in using healthcare software and patient management systems. Ability to handle high-stress situations calmly and effectively.
