Pay Information $1,752 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Progressive Care Unit Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 Year License: Active RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: BLS ACLS NIHHS Description: This is a contract position for a Registered Nurse in a progressive care unit. The contract duration is 13 weeks with a night shift schedule of 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. No on-call duties are required. The unit has a total of 34 beds with 9 nurses and 4 patient care technicians on staff. Patient ratios are 4:1 during night shifts with designated charge nurses leading each shift. Equipment used in the unit includes bedside monitors, glucometers, dopplers, standing scales, wheelchairs, and hoyer lifts. Electronic medical records (EMR) are utilized. Candidates without required certifications will not be considered for the role. Preferred certifications include CATN, TCAR, or TCCN. Typical procedures performed in this unit include emergent chest tube placement, midline or PICC line insertion, and emergent bedside bronchoscopy. The ideal candidate will be teamwork oriented and adaptable to the unit's guidelines. Dress code requires navy blue scrubs.
