Summary and Qualifications The Director of ICU has full authority
and responsibility for the administration and supervision of the
Intensive Care Unit. - You will oversee the operations of several
units/departments in accordance with hospital and nursing
department philosophy, policies, procedures, protocols and
standards. - You will develop and monitor departmental budgets. -
You will assure the acquisition and retention of qualified
personnel. - You will develop a professional climate within the
nursing units. - You will develop departmental goals consistent
with hospital/system strategic plans and operations. - You will
maintain current professional growth through independent study, and
attending in-service programs and workshops. - You will perform
miscellaneous duties as assigned. What qualifications you will
need: - Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 1
year of employment start date - Basic Cardiac Life Support - NIH
Stroke Scale must be obtained within 90 days of employment start
date - Registered Nurse - Bachelors Degree - 3-7 years of
experience - Five (5) years of clinical experience in the ICU with
demonstrated management progression; at least 6 months of
charge/supervisor experience. St. David’s Medical Center, part of
