We are HIRING a CERTIFIED MEDICATION AIDE | LEAD ROLE FULL TIME and PART TIME (DAYS, Med Aides Only/EVE/OVERNIGHT shifts) LIMITED OPPORTUNITY AVAILABLE Shifts may vary based on availability at time of application. Applicants will be subject to a criminal history background check and may be subject to drug testing. Primary Job Responsibilities include (but not limited to): Lead Role also responsible for managing staff on shift ensuring responsibilities and duties are completed and ensuring resident care needs are met. Assist residents with activities of daily living and provide emotional support Administer medications to residents following the prescribed dosage and schedule Monitor and record residents' vital signs and reactions to medications Maintain accurate medical documentation and adhere to HIPAA regulations Stay updated on medication administration best practices and participate in ongoing training Communicate effectively with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care. Additional Universal Worker tasks such as kitchen duties, basic housekeeping, delivering resident mail and as assigned. Sundara is locally owned and actively involved in the quality of care provided. Qualifications Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), minimum 1 year Certified Medication Aide (CMA), minimum 1 year 2yr Experience and passion working with Alzheimer’s & dementia care residents Knowledge of EHR systems and medical documentation Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and medical terminology Experience in lead shift roles in assisted living environment.
