Job Description:
Ascension seeks a dedicated Operating Room Registered Nurse to
join our faith-based healthcare organization. As a part of our
team, you will play a crucial role in our mission to transform

state-of-the-art facilities, you will work alongside top
professionals to deliver high-quality, personalized care that
embodies our commitment to enhancing patient outcomes. Provide
direct nursing care in a diverse healthcare environment in
accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of
the healthcare organization. Prepare patients for surgery and
assist in patient assessment and post-operative recovery. Ensure
sterile procedures and patient safety are strictly adhered to.
Participate in the monitoring and maintenance of patient vital
signs during surgery. Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists,
and other surgical team members to provide top-notch patient care.
Document patient care services by charting in patient and
department records. Educate patients and families on postoperative
care and possible complications. Strong ability to work in a
high-pressure environment. Excellent interpersonal and
communication skills. Proficiency in using medical software and
surgical instruments. Keen attention to detail and problem-solving
skills. Ability to make quick, accurate decisions. Medical

Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certified. Advanced Cardiovascular Life
Support (ACLS) preferred.
