Resolute Rehabilitation at Cornerstone Specialty Hospitals Round Rock is a 12-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit located at 4681 College Park Drive in Round Rock, Texas . It's designed to help patients recover from serious illness, injury, or surgery-especially those transitioning from intensive care. Specialized Rehab Services : Offers intensive therapy for conditions like stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injury, orthopedic trauma, neurological disorders, amputation , and other complex conditions. Therapy Intensity : Patients typically receive 15 hours of therapy per week , guided by a multidisciplinary team including physicians, nurses, and therapists. Modern Facility : Located on the first floor, the unit is equipped with advanced rehab equipment and designed to support recovery in a focused, patient-centered environment. How you'll contribute The Speech Language Pathologist evaluates and treats individuals with speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders, supporting patient recovery and communication improvement. Essential Functions Assess speech, language, and swallowing abilities. Develop and implement treatment plans based on patient needs. Provide education to patients and families regarding therapy goals. Document evaluations, treatments, and patient progress accurately. Collaborate with healthcare teams on care coordination. Perform other duties as assigned. Additional Information Strong communication skills and clinical judgement required. Qualifications and requirements: Education: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology. Experience: Experience in acute or rehab setting preferred. License: Current SLP license and ASHA certification. Certifications: CPR certification required.
