Job Description:
Ascension, a leading faith-based healthcare organization, is
looking for a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our
Telemetry Observation Unit. At Ascension, you will be part of a

patient outcomes. This position is pivotal in monitoring patients
with acute conditions by utilizing advanced telemetry technology to
provide optimal patient care. Monitor and record patients' vital
signs and ensure the correct functioning of telemetry equipment.
Administer medications as prescribed and monitor for any side
effects. Observe patients for changes in condition and report any
abnormalities to the physician immediately. Provide education and
support to patients and their families regarding management of
their condition. Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to
confidentiality and safety guidelines. Collaborate with
multidisciplinary healthcare teams to create and evaluate
individualized care plans. Participate in continual education to
stay informed on best practices in telemetry and patient care.
Proficiency in using telemetry equipment. Strong analytical and
problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal
skills. Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment.
Comprehensive understanding of health and safety guidelines.

401k Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of
practice. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. Advanced
Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
