Ascension, a leading faith-based healthcare organization, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. This role is pivotal in providing top-tier, compassionate, and personalized care in our state-of-the-art ICU facilities. Provide direct nursing care in a diverse healthcare environment in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization. Monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions as appropriate utilizing computerized documentation systems. Administer medications and treatments to patients and monitor their responses. Participate in the development and modification of care plans in conjunction with the healthcare team to fully address the healthcare needs of patients. Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team. Provide education and support to patient families, focusing on personalized patient care. Maintain a comprehensive understanding of compliance with regulatory standards and nursing best practices. Proven ability to handle critical care and life support situations. Adept in using electronic health record (EHR) systems. Strong analytical and decision-making skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
