to find a qualified OR RN in Round Rock, Texas, 78681! Job Title:
RN - OR/Surgery Profession: Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty:
Operating Room (OR) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Monday, Tuesday,
Thursday Hours per Shift: 12 hours (6:30 AM - 7:00 PM) Experience:
Minimum 1 year License: Registered Nurse License Certifications:
Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support
(ACLS) preferred Must-Have: Candidates must have experience in
general surgery, orthopedic, and neuro surgery. Candidates must
have basic general OR knowledge with a minimum of one year. If the
candidate is for CVOR, they must have at least two years of CVOR
experience, including all adult open heart cases and open and
endovascular cases. Experience with open and endovascular AAA
surgeries is required. Candidates must be willing to work with the
Cath lab on cases such as TAVR. Description: This is a contract
position for a Registered Nurse specializing in the Operating Room.
The role involves performing duties in a fast-paced surgical
environment. Candidates are expected to assist in various surgical
procedures. Flexibility in working different types of rooms and
cases is essential. Willingness to help with training new staff is
appreciated. Candidates may be asked to pick up extra hours if
needed. Scrubs will be provided, and the dress code is light blue.
A cooperative and adaptive attitude is key to thriving in this
position. Typical procedures include X-lif, A-lif, decompression,
ACDF, craniotomy, robotic surgery, ortho trauma, total joints, and
general open and laparoscopic surgery. Vascular procedures such as
CABG and TAVR are also part of the case load. The unit has a total
of 11 operating rooms and a staff of approximately 40. The patient
ratio is 1:1, ensuring focused and high-quality care. All
