ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN CVOR for a travel nursing job in Round Rock, Texas. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: CVOR Discipline: RN Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: RN - Cardiovascular Surgery Job Details: • Work 10-hour day shifts from 10:30 AM to 8:00 PM • Rotating call and weekend responsibilities required • Minimum 2 years of CVOR experience required for cardiovascular surgery position • Must have experience with all adult open heart cases, open and endovascular procedures • Required to work with catheterization lab on cases such as TAVR (trans aortic valve replacement) • Experience needed with open and endovascular Triple A surgery • General surgery, orthopedic, and neurosurgery experience preferred • Minimum one year of general OR knowledge required • Travel experience required • Must be proficient with Meditech EMR system • Work with varied OR equipment including microscopes, DaVinci Xi Robot, Mako Robot, laparoscopic Stryker tower, and endovascular hybrid room equipment • Patient ratio of 1:1 • Light blue scrubs provided by facility • Must be flexible working in different types of rooms with various cases • Willingness to assist in training new graduate technicians and RNs • Typical procedures include CABG, valve surgeries, aortic surgeries, TAVR, TCAR, TEVAR, EVAR, and open vascular cases Facility: This medical center operates an 11-room surgical suite with a comprehensive cardiovascular surgery program.
