board-certified or board-eligible Pediatric Hematology-Oncology
Physician to serve as Program Director of a Comprehensive Sickle
Cell Disease program at Dell Children’s Medical Center in Austin,
TX. The role involves clinical leadership, multidisciplinary care
coordination, quality improvement, and community partnership
development in pediatric hematology-oncology. The physician will
also participate in education and training in affiliation with Dell
Medical School and contribute to the care of childhood cancers,
blood disorders, and bone marrow transplant patients. Details

range at the time of the offer. Responsibilities Program Director –
Comprehensive Sickle Cell Disease Program Dell Children’s Medical
Group & The Blood and Cancer Center of Central Texas is seeking a
dynamic, mission-driven Program Director to lead and expand our
Comprehensive Sickle Cell Disease (SCD) Program, a NASCC site. This
is a unique opportunity to advance clinical excellence, implement
innovative care models, and strengthen community engagement for
pediatric patients with SCD across Central Texas.
Board-certified/board- eligible in Pediatric Hematology-Oncology
required. Our program currently cares for ~250 patients, supported
by a dedicated team that includes advanced practice providers, a
program coordinator, social work, and psychology. We emphasize
multidisciplinary care and collaborate closely on joint initiatives
in pain management, pulmonary hypertension, moyamoya/vasculopathy,
and quality improvement. Key Responsibilities: Provide clinical
leadership for the multidisciplinary SCD program Oversee care
delivery, quality improvement, and patient outcomes Foster
partnerships with academic, community, and advocacy stakeholders
Develop, implement, and evaluate evidence-based protocols to drive
program growth As the clinical partner site for Dell Medical School
at The University of Texas at Austin , you will also play an active
role in the education and training of future physicians.
Board-eligible/board-certified pediatric hematology-oncology
fellowship graduates or experienced physicians are encouraged to

Hematology-Oncology physicians who diagnose, manage, and treat all
forms of childhood cancers, blood disorders, bone marrow failure
syndromes, and patients in our recently launched Bone Marrow
