Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: CVPICU - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel /n Job Description/n American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Pediatric Cardiovascular ICU position requiring 18 months pediatric CVICU experience and a TX or compact RN license. /n /n Responsibilities/n - Work in a Pediatric Cardiovascular ICU with a 24-bed unit and 12-bed overflow area - Patient population includes neonatal through young adult, with occasional adult congenital heart disease patients - Cases include congenital heart disease/defects, post-surgical repairs, heart failure, arrhythmias, transplant, and VAD - Nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:1 or 1:2 in ICU status and 1:3 in stepdown or non-ICU overflow - Night shift schedule: 18:45 to 07:15 - Provide specialized nursing care to critically ill pediatric cardiac patients - Must supply two professional references and a copy of driver’s license for consideration - COVID-19 vaccination is not required - Local candidates are accepted, but will receive a reduced rate based on facility radius rules - All positions are offered automatically without interviews - Holiday and weekend coverage may be required based on unit needs /n /n Requirements/n - Active TX or compact RN license required - Minimum 18 months of recent Pediatric Cardiovascular ICU experience - Certifications required: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and PALS - Nursys license verification and primary source verification within 30 days prior to start - US Social Security Number and US home address required /n Benefits/n - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts /n American Traveler Job ID P-609775.
