As a key member of the medical team, you will oversee infection control activities, supervise physicians and nurse practitioners, and serve as a vital resource for hospital staff. Required Skills: Valid Texas Medical Board license Current DEA registration certificate National Provider Identifier (NPI) Proven experience in general medical evaluation and treatment Strong leadership and supervisory skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Excellent clinical judgment and decision-making abilities Nice to Have Skills: Experience working in a psychiatric or hospital setting Knowledge of infection control protocols Prior experience in public health or administrative roles Bilingual abilities are a plus Preferred Education and Experience: Medical degree (MD or DO) Prior experience in a hospital or clinical environment, preferably in a psychiatric or public health setting Demonstrated ability to manage clinical teams and oversee infection control activities Other Requirements: Availability to start as soon as possible Willingness to participate in disaster response or Continuity of Operations (COOP) activities, which may require shift or location adjustments Ability to work Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm This is a fantastic opportunity to apply your medical expertise in a supportive and impactful environment.
