Available Job Summary The Registered Nurse (RN) plays a crucial
role in delivering personalized nursing care to residents by
employing the nursing process, which includes assessment,
diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. This position
involves collaboration with residents, their families, and
interdisciplinary team members, including healthcare providers, to
ensure comprehensive care planning and evaluation. The RN is
expected to demonstrate proficiency and operate within the full
spectrum of nursing knowledge, adhering to age and
population-specific standards relevant to their clinical
environment. Responsibilities encompass all aspects of preventive
care, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment. Key duties
include: Coordinating resident care Conducting resident assessments
Providing resident education Implementing various nursing
interventions In addition, the RN may take on the role of charge
nurse, delegating appropriate tasks to both licensed and unlicensed
assistive personnel, ensuring that these tasks align with job
descriptions, skills, resident care needs, and the competencies of
the delegates. The RN is responsible for offering adequate support
to ensure safe and effective resident care while addressing any
concerns related to care and services. This role operates within
the guidelines and standards set forth in the Nurse Practice Act
and Administrative Rules of the state of practice and licensure.
The Professional Nursing Practice acknowledges the Scope and
Standards of Practice and the Code of Ethics for Nurses with
Interpretive Statements as established by the American Nurses
Association, serving as the foundation for nursing care delivery
and professional behavior. Qualifications Graduation from a
nationally accredited nursing program is preferred, including
institutions recognized by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing
Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing
(ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing
Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA). A Bachelor’s Degree in nursing
is preferred. Must possess an unencumbered RN license from the
State Board of Nursing in the state where nursing practice occurs,
or hold multistate licensure if practicing in a Nurse Licensure
Compact (NLC) state. Must obtain and maintain required
department-specific competencies and certifications. Benefits Our
