Job Description:
Ascension is seeking a compassionate and dedicated NICU
Registered Nurse to join our faith-based healthcare organization.
As a pivotal member of our neonatal intensive care unit, you will
utilize cutting-edge medical technology to provide specialized care
for newborns requiring intensive medical attention. Positioned
within our network of esteemed hospitals and clinics, you will have
opportunities for professional growth and development, while
contributing to our mission of transforming healthcare and
delivering personalized, compassionate care. Provide direct and
specialized nursing care to neonates. Collaborate with
multidisciplinary healthcare teams to formulate individualized care
plans. Monitor and report on the condition of newborns, adjusting
care plans as necessary. Educate and support parents and family
members on neonatal conditions and home care preparations. Ensure
the use of proper infection control standards and maintain safety
in the NICU. Participate in professional development and continuous
education programs. Proficiency in NICU-specific medical equipment
and technology. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. Ability to perform
under stressful situations and manage emotional challenges. Medical

Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of employment.
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification. Neonatal Resuscitation
Program (NRP) Certification preferred.
