Job Description:
Encompass Health Corporation, a leader in integrated healthcare
services, is seeking dedicated Registered Nurses (RNs) for our PRN
positions, available for both day and night shifts. With a focus on
providing high-quality inpatient rehabilitation and home-based
care, we require compassionate and skilled nurses to support our
mission. This role encompasses a broad range of nursing duties from
patient assessment to the implementation of therapeutic plans,
tailored to meet the unique recovery needs of each individual.
Assess patients' health problems and needs, and develop nursing
care plans Administer nursing care to ill, injured, convalescent,
or disabled patients Advise patients on health maintenance and
disease prevention Document and maintain accurate patient medical
records Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to
share expertise and knowledge Monitor, record, and report symptoms
and changes in patients' conditions Operate and monitor medical
equipment Strong clinical skills Excellent communication and
interpersonal skills Proficient in using healthcare software and
systems Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills Compassion and
patience Adaptability and flexibility to work various shifts
Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Valid RN
license in the state of employment Basic Life Support (BLS)
Certification Preferred: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
