Ascension is actively seeking a dedicated Interventional Technologist to join our innovative team within the faith-based healthcare framework. We are looking for a skilled Technologist who is passionate about making a meaningful impact on patient lives using state-of-the-art technology in interventional radiology procedures. Prepare patients and diagnostic equipment for imaging procedures. Operate complex medical instruments such as C-arms, fluoroscopes, and other imaging devices during diagnostic and interventional procedures. Assist physicians with vascular catheterizations, stent placements, and other minimally invasive interventional procedures. Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to safety protocols to minimize radiation exposure to patients and staff. Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to provide holistic care. Regularly participate in training sessions and contribute to quality improvement initiatives. Proficiency in operating advanced radiologic technology. Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare team. Ability to handle physically demanding tasks and stand for extended periods. Skills in problem-solving and decision-making during high-pressure situations. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Registered Technologist in Radiography RT(R) certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Certification in Cardiovascular-Interventional Radiography (CI) from ARRT preferred.
