Job Description:
Ascension is seeking a dedicated and skilled Emergency
Department Registered Nurse to join our faith-based organization.

attention to patients in emergency situations Assess patient health
problems and needs, and develop and implement nursing care plans
Maintain accurate and detailed records of patients’ health and the
care they receive Administer medications as prescribed and monitor
patients for reactions or side effects Operate medical equipment
and assist with patient rehabilitation Collaborate with healthcare
professionals to optimize patient care Educate patients and their
families on health care needs, conditions, and options Exceptional
ability to make quick and accurate assessments of patient
conditions Proficiency in emergency medical procedures and
protocols Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to
handle high stress situations calmly and effectively Skilled in the
use of medical equipment used in emergency care Medical Insurance
Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Must be a
Registered Nurse with a valid state license BLS/CPR Certification
is required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
preferred
