Encompass Health is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals in providing exceptional, patient-centered care at our state-of-the-art inpatient rehabilitation facilities. In this role, you will work closely with Physical Therapists to implement treatment plans that help patients achieve maximum functional recovery after suffering from various injuries or illnesses. Our focus is on innovative, personalized rehabilitation services, making this an ideal setting for professional growth and patient impact. Assist Physical Therapists in the administration of interventions and treatment plans. Document patient’s response to treatment and progress towards identified goals. Use therapeutic techniques for mobility, motor control improvement, pain relief, and coordination skills. Educate patients and families about self-care and therapy routines. Maintain coordination and timely communication with the rehabilitation team and other healthcare professionals involved in patient care. Ensure adherence to internal policies and compliance with regulatory standards. Strong knowledge of therapy techniques and therapeutic intervention methods. Ability to operate rehabilitative equipment. Excellent patient care and communication skills. Proficiency in documenting and reporting on treatment plans and progress. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Current Physical Therapist Assistant license as required by state. CPR certification preferred.
