Job Description:
HCA Healthcare is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate
Registered Nurse (RN) for our Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU)
Recovery Room to provide expert care to patients recovering from
anesthesia following surgery. As part of our team, you'll be
instrumental in ensuring the safety, comfort, and recovery of
patients in the critical initial hours after surgery. The ideal
candidate is a highly skilled professional with a passion for
patient care and a profound commitment to improving human life.
Monitor patient vital signs and levels of consciousness during the
recovery phase post-anesthesia Administer pain relief measures and
post-operative instructions provided by physicians Assess patients
for any side effects or complications following anesthesia Provide
emotional support and reassurances to patients recovering from
surgery Maintain detailed records of patient’s medical history,
vital stats, and drug administration Educate patients and their
families on post-surgery care requirements and potential
complications Proficiency in managing pain relief and anti-emetic
measures Exceptional skills in patient health assessment and
monitoring Strong interpersonal skills for communicating with
patients, families, and medical teams Ability to function well in a
high-pressure and fast-paced environment Medical Insurance Dental

Nurse (RN) license in the state of employment Basic Life Support
(BLS) certification Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
