during the hiring process. How you’ll make an impact in this role -
Provide expert bedside care for patients through all stages of
labor, including high-risk pregnancies, induction of labor, and
spontaneous deliveries, while maintaining proficiency in
circulating for emergency Cesarean sections. - Monitor and
interpret continuous electronic fetal monitoring (EFM) strips to
assess fetal well-being, identifying non-reassuring patterns and
initiating rapid intrauterine resuscitation or surgical escalation
in accordance with AWHONN standards. - Lead and coordinate care
during critical events such as placental abruption, shoulder
dystocia, or postpartum hemorrhage, utilizing advanced assessment
skills and ACLS/NRP protocols within a high-volume trauma
environment. - Partner with a multidisciplinary team—including
obstetricians, anesthesiologists, and neonatologists—to manage
complex patient populations, ensuring informed consent and
providing compassionate support for both physiological and
psychosocial needs. What minimum requirements you’ll need Licensure
/ Certification / Registration: - BLS Provider obtained within 1
Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. -
Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing
obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. -
Certification specializing in The S.T.A.B.L.E Program preferred. -
Certification specializing in Neonatal Resuscitation credentialed
from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) preferred. Education:
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR
professional licensure at time of hire required. What additional
