Job Description:

Epic Special Education Staffing is seeking a compassionate and skilled School Psychologist to join our dedicated team, working onsite or in a hybrid model to support the emotional and educational growth of students with special needs. This role involves assessing student needs, collaborating with educators and parents, and developing and implementing strategies to promote student success in educational environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in psychology with a special focus on child and adolescent development, exceptional interpersonal skills, and a passion for advancing the educational experiences of children with diverse learning needs. Conduct psychological assessments and interpret results to determine student needs and goals. Develop and implement intervention strategies and individualized education programs in collaboration with teachers and parents. Monitor student progress and adapt programs as needed. Provide counseling and support to students and families. Advocate for student needs within the school system. Participate in multidisciplinary teams to address the holistic needs of students. Maintain accurate and confidential student records according to regulatory standards. Strong knowledge of psychological theories and practices relevant to education Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and families Experience with educational software and assessment tools Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Knowledge of special education regulations and best practices Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Valid state license as a School Psychologist Certification from the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP) preferred
