Job Description POSITION SUMMARY Under minimal supervision,
provides nursing care for a group of patients assigned to the nurse
based on matching the patients' needs with the nurse' competencies.
Completes established competencies for the position within
designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.

EDUCATION: Graduate of accredited school of nursing. PREFERRED
EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: Med/Surg
experience with completion of Basic Oncology Nursing and Cancer
Chemotherapy Course for Oncology and Infusion Clinic. PREFERRED
EXPERIENCE: 2 years in acute care for Med/Surg and/or Oncology
REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: Possession of current Texas
State License for Registered Nurse. PREFERRED
CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN)
certification REQUIRED CCOURSES/COMPLETIONS (e.g., CPR): Must have
active healthcare provider Basic Life Support on hire (ARC or AHA);
however, must have AHA Healthcare Provider BLS within 60 days of
