Job Description:

our Mother Baby Unit, you will have the unique opportunity to make
a profound impact on the lives of newborns and their families. This
position involves direct patient care for mothers and their
newborns immediately following childbirth. You will be integral in
educating and supporting new mothers and their families, managing
postpartum care, and ensuring the health and safety of both the
mothers and their newborns. Monitor and assess the health condition
of both mothers and newborns. Educate and support mothers on baby
care, feeding, and postnatal recovery. Coordinate with
obstetricians, pediatricians, and other medical staff to ensure
comprehensive patient care. Administer medications as prescribed
and monitor for side-effects. Record and maintain accurate patient
medical histories. Implement patient care plans and interventions.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work
effectively in a fast-paced environment. Proficient in neonatal
resuscitation and maternal postnatal care. Experience with
electronic medical record (EMR) systems. Medical Insurance Dental
Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid and active
Registered Nurse license in the state of employment. Basic Life
Support (BLS) certification. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
preferred. Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
