Job Description:
Join HCA Healthcare’s dedicated team as a temporary Pediatric
Registered Respiratory Therapist where your skills and passion for
delivering quality healthcare services will support our mission to
care for and improve human life. This position in pediatrics offers
the chance to work in a dynamic, patient-centered medical
environment at one of the nation's leading providers of healthcare
services. As a key member of our respiratory therapy team, you will
provide specialized care to our youngest patients and support our
commitment to compassionate, effective medical treatment. Evaluate
and treat patients with breathing or other cardiopulmonary
disorders in the pediatric setting. Active participation in patient
care conferences to discuss multidisciplinary team approaches to
patient care. Perform diagnostic tests, such as arterial blood gas
analysis and spirometry. Manage ventilators and artificial airway
devices for patients who cannot breathe normally on their own.
Educate patients and families on managing illnesses and diseases
affecting respiratory health, providing compassionate support.
Maintain patient records accurately and follow all hospital health
and safety guidelines. In-depth knowledge of respiratory care
processes and equipment. Ability to work effectively with pediatric
patients. Strong communicative skills for explaining treatment
plans and interventions. Proficiency in using modern medical
technology. Excellent interpersonal skills to interact with
children and their families. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance
Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current certification as a
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT). Licensed Respiratory
Therapist in the state of practice. Pediatric Advanced Life Support
(PALS) certification. BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
required from the American Heart Association or American Red
Cross.
