Job Description Job Description Are you an experienced dog groomer looking for a rewarding opportunity in Bee Cave (Austin), TX? Riley's Ranch Pet Resort, a locally and veterinarian-owned luxury pet resort, invites you to join our team as our next part-time Dog Groomer . Generous paid time off (PTO) Uniforms THE GROWTH YOU HELP PROVIDE AS A DOG GROOMER You will begin your journey with us as a part-time team member, working in person from 8 am - 4 pm on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday . As our grooming services expand, there's an opportunity to move into a full-time role, with Thursdays being added to your schedule. As a part-time Dog Groomer, you will provide top-quality grooming services for our canine guests in our luxury "suites." Each day, you will perform bathing, drying, brushing, haircuts, and breed-specific styling with care and compassion. You will use your knowledge of grooming techniques to ensure each dog looks and feels their best, while maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming grooming area. Interacting with pet parents and providing strong, calm communication will be part of your routine, and you'll take pride in upholding the high standards of sanitation and safety set by our veterinarian-owned resort. OUR IDEAL DOG GROOMER 3 years of experience as a pet groomer Knowledge of different breeds and their grooming requirements Hands-on experience handling and grooming dogs Ability to lift 60lbs, or team lift for larger dogs Basic understanding of pet behaviors to identify stress or anxiety and ensure comfort Strong communication skills and a calm demeanor when dealing with clients ABOUT US At Riley's Ranch, we're more than a luxury pet resort; we're a veterinarian-owned facility where pets love to visit and owners have peace of mind.
