Job Description:

Touchstone Communities is seeking a dedicated Workforce/Staffing Manager to optimize staffing efficiency and employee engagement across our senior living and long-term care facilities in Texas. This role involves strategic workforce planning, recruitment, and maintaining optimal staffing levels to ensure our high standards of tailored care for elders are met continuously. The successful candidate will be adept at forecasting staffing needs, developing workforce strategies, and collaborating within multi-disciplinary teams to foster a supportive and professional environment in alignment with our organizational values. Develop and implement strategic staffing plans based on care requirements and forecasted patient needs. Lead recruitment, hiring, and training initiatives to maintain staff levels and ensure quality of hires. Analyze staffing metrics and KPIs to assess efficiency and make data-driven adjustments. Liaise with department heads and management to align workforce strategies with overall operational goals. Manage staff scheduling, ensuring optimal coverage for all shifts and reducing overtime. Promote a positive work environment and high staff morale through effective communication and engagement strategies. Strong analytical skills and proficiency in workforce management software Effective leadership and communication abilities Expertise in HR processes and employment law related to healthcare Experience in conflict resolution and personnel management 401k SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) preferred Certification in Healthcare Human Resources (CHHR) is an asset
