Senior Principal Technical Support Engineer At Dell

configuration, customization and use of Dell Technologies products.
For critical matters, we use our systems to provide remote
diagnostic technical support. If there's an issue with a customer's
product, we'll analyze it, identify the cause, recommend a solution
and document the problem. Join us as a Global Networking/Compute &
Solutions Technical Team Lead on our Technical Support team in

Enterprise Suite. Technical Team Leads in Enterprise must meet
constant challenges to maintain and grow deep technical knowledge,
provide effective escalation leadership, and demonstrate strong
business acumen. They are technical and escalation leaders to the
business and to partners both internal and external. The following
points summarize the skill and effectiveness required of an
Enterprise GSE Technical Team Lead: You will:
- Consult/Advise on business solutions and initiatives for SDS,
GETS, Sales, PG, DEES, and other organizations
- Provide guidance and critical input for initiatives (Examples:
Revamp new-hire onboarding process; Develop Certification Matrix
and associated policies)
- Develop processes for formal support of other Dell groups
(P&P for intake of field engineer issues for
GETS/OSE/Perot)
- Develop processes and strategies for collaborative work with
other support groups in Dell, such as with Boomi for the QuickStart
Data Warehouse product
- Manage and maintain relationships with support organizations
from vendors/partners such as Microsoft, Red Hat, VMware, IPS and

Requirements
- Must maintain Capstone "Architect level" industry
certifications i.e. RHCA, MCSM, VCAP-DCD
- Deep expertise across multiple technologies (datacenter,
converged and hyper converged technologies) i.e. VDI, FLEX, Data
Center Virtualization, VX Rail, Nutanix
- Must meet & exceed technical requirements placed on all three
levels of GSEs, and with an increased scope
- Mentor/coach Senior, Principal, and Senior Principal
Engineers
- Develop and deliver advanced training for specialists among
GSEs
- Demonstrate technical skill through coaching, training,
consulting, and advanced casework Desirable Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher
