As one of the largest turning shops in the nation, we are innovative and growing with patented technology.Cox Manufacturing requires the services of a Senior Software Engineer to design and program applications that support an information-centric manufacturing environment. This role will assist in determining the correct architecture for new features, participate in code reviews, and author new code.Responsibilities / Expectations

• Design and develop software solutions that integrate with ERP, machining equipment, and metrology systems
• Understand and translate business requirements into well documented technical specifications for features and system designs
• Possess a strong background in full stack development with experience maintaining and adding features to Access VBA, WinForms, WPF, Blazor, and other C# applications
• Write testable and efficient code while adhering to software quality standards
• Collaborate with team to integrate efficient database requests with applications
• Debug complex software and database issues, and improve system performance
• Demonstrate an understanding of the Domain Driven Design (DDD) modelQualifications:
  • 12+ years of experience in full-stack software development using .NET/C#
  • Experience with Service Oriented Architecture (SOA)
  • 12+ years of experience with MSSQL and/or PostgreSQL
  • Experience identifying when anemic or rich domain models are appropriate
  • Experience unit testing code
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Work onsite Monday-Friday.What we Offer:Compensation: At Cox Manufacturing, we ensure our compensation is competitive by regularly assessing market data and establishing salary ranges accordingly. Your pay is determined based on your experience and the market data for this position.
