Job Description:
Dynamic Systems Inc. (DSI) is seeking a highly motivated,
detail-oriented Applications Support Specialist to join our
Enterprise Applications team. This on-site role in Buda, TX will
provide critical support for internal business applications, ensure
the reliability of our Microsoft SharePoint and Power Platform
environments, and collaborate closely with business users to drive
system enhancements and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate
brings technical expertise, strong communication skills, and a
passion for supporting enterprise systems that empower teams across
the organization. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Application Support &
Administration - Provide daily support for DSI applications,
including the background check system, truck log system, separation
app, and PTO calendars. - Troubleshoot and resolve application
issues, escalating to internal teams or vendors when appropriate. -
Configure system settings, verify data accuracy, and maintain
application reliability. - Monitor application performance and
proactively identify improvement opportunities. - Support
application updates, enhancements, testing cycles, and deployments.
SharePoint & Microsoft Power Platform Ownership - Serve as the
SharePoint Owner for DSI, responsible for overall governance,
structure, and strategic roadmap. - Administer and maintain
SharePoint sites, lists, libraries, permissions, and content
architecture. - Build and support Power Apps, Power Automate flows,
and Power Pages to streamline processes - Partner with content
owners to ensure sites are user-friendly, compliant, secure, and
aligned with DSI standards. - Maintain workflow automations and
ensure adherence to governance and security policies. User Support,
Training & Documentation - Act as a primary point of contact for
application-related support requests and user inquiries. - Create
and maintain documentation including support procedures, FAQs, and
knowledge base articles. - Develop and deliver end-user training
sessions to improve adoption and overall system effectiveness. -
Communicate system updates, enhancements, and best practices across
the organization. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Continuous
Improvement - Partner with business units to understand operational
needs and recommend system improvements or new technology
solutions. - Participate in requirements gathering, solution
design, testing, and deployment activities. - Support integration
efforts between DSI applications and systems such as Vista or
Dynamics 365. - Identify opportunities to optimize workflows,
eliminate manual processes, and enhance the user experience.
DSI-RELEVANT APPLICATIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES SmartBarrel A
workforce management and jobsite compliance platform that supports
time tracking and identity verification for field employees.
Responsibilities include: • Managing user accounts and permissions
• Troubleshooting timekeeping or identity-sync issues • Supporting
integrations with HR or ERP systems • Training field supervisors
and monitoring jobsite workflows QuoteToMe A procurement and vendor
management tool used to streamline materials purchasing and RFQ
workflows. Responsibilities include: • Supporting vendor onboarding
and approval routing • Troubleshooting RFQ and purchase-order
workflows • Assisting purchasing teams with reporting and analytics
• Ensuring integration accuracy with financial systems Field
Materials A construction materials management platform used to
coordinate ordering, delivery tracking, and supplier communication.
Responsibilities include: • Configuring material categories,
suppliers, and cost codes • Supporting field-requested materials
workflows • Troubleshooting mobile and web app issues • Verifying
data accuracy between orders, receipts, and inventory Vista
(Viewpoint Vista by Trimble) DSI’s core ERP supporting financials,
job costing, payroll, HR, purchasing, and project workflows.
Responsibilities include: • Assisting with module navigation,
workflow troubleshooting, and data validation • Supporting posting,
reporting, and integration-related issues • Helping with system
upgrades, patches, and testing • Maintaining user permissions and
security roles Dynamics 365 Sales DSI’s CRM platform used to manage
leads, opportunities, accounts, and sales pipeline forecasting.
Responsibilities include: • Troubleshooting CRM data, workflow
automations, or dashboards • Supporting custom views, fields, and
role-based permissions • Maintaining Power Automate flows tied to
CRM processes • Delivering user training for sales teams Internal
DSI Applications (Custom Apps) Includes the background check
application, truck log system, separation app, PTO calendars, and
other custom-built tools. Responsibilities include: •
Troubleshooting functionality, permissions, or data logic •
Enhancing workflows using Power Apps or Power Automate •
Maintaining documentation and supporting business process changes •
Coordinating with stakeholders to ensure tools evolve with
organizational needs QUALIFICATIONS Required: - Associate’s or
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field;
equivalent experience considered. - 2 years of experience
supporting enterprise applications, system administration, or
business systems support. - Experience administering SharePoint
environments, including permissions, site administration, and
workflow management. - Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and
communication skills. - Experience with Microsoft 365 tools and
environments. - Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced
environment with minimal supervision. Preferred: - Hands-on
experience with SmartBarrel, QuoteToMe, Field Materials, Vista, or
Dynamics 365 Sales—or similar enterprise applications. - Experience
building and maintaining Power Apps, Power Automate flows, or Power
Pages. - Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell). -
Experience supporting field operations or distributed user groups.
WORK ENVIRONMENT This is a full-time, on-site position located in
Buda, TX. Occasional travel to other DSI offices or vendor sites
may be required. Collaboration with internal stakeholders and
