Management AMZ1050.15 Location: Austin, Texas Multiple Positions
Available: 1. Analyze demand forecasts and formulate supply plans
to meet required capacity and service levels across logistics
support operations in Amazon's marketplaces. Adjust business needs
across seasonal fluctuations, recruit and train a team of support
specialists and launch new markets as Amazon's logistics support
operations expand globally. 2. Design metrics and business
intelligence dashboards that allow to track operational performance
against planned forecasts for each of Amazon's marketplaces with
logistics support operations 3. Build and / or configure tools to
improve productivity and quality for logistics support operations.
These tools encompass software suites for case management, project
management, forecast modeling, performance tracking and business
intelligence analysis 4. Formulate policies and standard operations
procedures for critical support operations in all marketplaces
where Amazon has logistics operations 5. Research and benchmark
efficacy of logistics operations, support needs and economic value
to devise program strategy 6. WW senior stakeholder management
across Amazon customer service and logistics teams 7. Coordination
of tactical execution of devised strategy and expansion plans. 8.
Formulate Quality Assurance standards, implement audit mechanisms
with associated requirements such as processes, tools, metric
reporting. 9. Formulate technology and tooling requirements to run
support operations globally, create Business Requirement Documents
and economic value analysis for new technology investment. 10.
Manage direct reports including Sr. Program Managers, Quality
Analysts/Sr. Quality Analysts, and Program Specialists 11. Domestic
or international travel up to 20% to perform role responsibilities
may be required (40 hours / week, 8:00am-5:00pm, Salary Range $

and 5 years of experience in the job offered or a related
occupation in program or product management. In the alternative,
employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent
degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management,
Operations Management, Engineering or a related field followed by 7
years of progressively responsible post-baccalaureate experience in
the job offered or a related occupation in program or product
management. Experience must include: • 5 years of experience in
management consulting, operations management, or logistics
management. • 5 years of management experience (salaried workforce
or program management) in a global supply chain, manufacturing,
production/procurement, distribution, logistics or related
environment/operations. • 5 years of experience using Lean Process
Improvement, Six Sigma methodologies or related performance
metrics/process improvements to increase efficiency within
processes, forecasting, planning, optimization, and logistics. • 5
years of cross-functional coordination experience across different
business units and experience conducting qualitative/quantitative
data analysis to support business decision making and cross
