Job Description:
Description Position Overview Driver – Class “A” is responsible
for making daily deliveries of Company products to customers using
Company provided vehicle. Will deliver fuel to frac sites and/or
pick up returns from customers, load and unload the vehicle,
conduct pre and post trip inspections, maintain a daily travel log,
and handle shipping papers and invoices. The primary job functions
include, but are not limited to: Perform pre trip, and post trip
inspections which includes checking gasoline, oil, water, and
tires, and other items as shown on the DVIR Record any malfunctions
of equipment on the Inspection Sheet, which is reviewed by the
supervisor and Safety Manager Transports fuel using Class A Tanker
Loads or unloads fuel at the rack or tank farm Maintain Daily Log
Sheets which includes entering miles and times at each stop.
Maintains delivery, truck and driving records by obtaining receipt
acknowledgements; recording tracking information; completing driver
log and truck performance forms Present a good image of the company
through proper dress and attitude. Maintains safe operation and
clean appearance by complying with organization operational
policies, procedures, and standards, as well as state and local and
DOT driving rules and regulations Responsible for maintaining a
clean vehicle, both on the exterior and the interior Maintain a
satisfactory attendance record Maintains a safe and clean work
environment, complying with all OSHA and company safety procedures,
rules and regulations Other tasks as assigned by Management
Qualifications The skill requirements include, but are not limited
to: Must be able to drive both automatic and manual transmission
Courteous treatment of and assistance to customers High degree of
attention required to prevent injury and damage to self and others
when operating a company vehicle Must be able to follow oral and
written instructions Must have basic math skills including
addition, subtraction, multiplication and division Work involves
continual walking, lifting, carrying, grasping, reaching, stooping
and crouching Work involves climbing and descending stairs
frequently Ability to lift a minimum of 60 lbs. of weight on a
continuous basis Ability to read and write in English Must
successfully complete background check, criminal history check Must
pass a physical, human performance evaluation, and drug test
Attitude that supports the Company’s goals and values Must maintain
regular and prompt attendance Experience Requirements: Must have
two (2) years verifiable hazmat experience. Education Requirements:
High school diploma or general education diploma (GED) is preferred
Certification Requirements: Must be at least 21 years of age with a
valid Texas driver’s license Must have CDL license with a tanker
endorsement Must have clear driving record for previous 3 years
