This is a Contract to Hire role based in Austin, TX or Burlington, VT.Your JobAs a Senior Business Analyst - Business Intelligence, you will play a crucial role in our client's digital revolution in the automotive industry. You will be responsible for analyzing, transforming, and reporting on data to provide insights into new product offerings and trends. Your main tasks will include performing data analysis and validation, translating data into meaningful insights, creating customer-facing reports, and supporting internal customers with one-off requests for insights. With your expertise in SQL, Snowflake, and Tableau, you will contribute to the development of data reporting models and assist in the implementation of data monitoring systems. Join our team and be part of an environment that values teamwork and creative problem-solving techniques.The WorkConduct quantitative and qualitative analysis to extract meaningful insights from dataTranslate business problems into data science inquiriesEffectively communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholdersBe a self-starter and proactively find solutions for problems as they ariseQuickly pivot and adapt if a specific path to a solution is not yielding resultsPerform data analysis, validation, and interpretationWrite, maintain, and update SQL queries in response to internal customer questionsCreate customer-facing reports using analytics tools such as Logi Analytics and MicroStrategiesDevelop reports and data visualizations to present insights for decision-makingCoordinate data feeds and merge disparate datasets for analysisAssist in the development of data monitoring and measurement systemsSupport internal customers with ad hoc requests for insightsQualificationsMinimum of 5 years of experience conducting quantitative and qualitative analysisStrong proficiency in SQL and experience working with Relational Databases (i.e., Oracle) and SnowflakeProficiency in using reporting tools such as TableauDemonstrated experience working with large-scale disparate datasetsProven ability to present data to leadership for decision-making purposesBachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent combination of industry-related professional experience and educationNice to HaveExperience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or QlikViewKnowledge of data warehousing concepts and methodologiesFamiliarity with statistical analysis and predictive modeling techniquesUnderstanding of automotive industry trends and challengesCertification in business intelligence or data analytics#BusinessIntelligence #DataAnalysis #SQL #Snowflake #Tableau #DataMining #DataVisualization #Analytics #AutomotiveIndustry #BusinessAnalyst
