Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled RN for our Cardiac
Progressive Care Patient Care Unit (PCU). This role focuses on
providing care to patients with serious cardiac conditions who
require constant monitoring and treatment adjustments but are not
in critical condition requiring ICU care. The position demands a
high level of expertise in managing complex patient situations
influenced by cardiac issues, as well as a compassionate approach
to patient care. Monitor cardiac and other critical vital signs and
detect any changes, thereby enabling interventions when necessary.
Administer medications, track responses, and document all patient
interactions in adherence with compliance standards. Collaborate
with healthcare professionals to plan, manage, and evaluate patient
care in a compassionate manner. Educate patients and their families
about treatment plans, including self-management post-discharge.
Provide emotional support to patients and their families. Implement
infection control protocols to prevent complications. Ensure a safe
and orderly environment that contributes to patient care and
recovery. Proficient in using medical software for patient
management. Strong understanding of cardiology, pharmacology, and
non-invasive procedures relevant to cardiac care. Excellent
interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work effectively
in high-pressure situations. Strong observational and
